CPI NEW VOICES – ALL DECKED OUT / A ROAD TRIP FROM DENVER TO LAS VEGAS

Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative will present staged readings of two one-act plays by Barb Timmins (Humble Pie).  In All Decked Out, a woman in her PJs frantically seeks help when she finds herself locked out of her new home, unable to get off her elevated deck.  In A Road Trip from Denver to Las Vegas, two BFFs (best female friends) and a niece, sustained by a quantity of pot,  head west through a desert in an ill-equipped van.  The comfort of friendship gives one of the women the strength to get on with her life after she discloses that her long-time marriage has fractured.
